  Ko Olina sits off the west shore of Oahu in Hawaii. Ko Olina promises some of the clearest and calmest waters on the island. • The Ko Olina Beach Club is on the western shore of Oahu. Waterfalls and fountains greet guests at the entrance to this resort, located 30 minutes from Honolulu on secluded beachfront property. The resort sits on 642 acres in a gated community. Parking is available for $30 a day. The hotel offers three pools, including the famous lagoon pool, and seven Jacuzzis. The hotel also offers a fitness center with cardio equipment and free weights. The Spa by the Sea offers massages for guests.
  
  There are one-, two- and three-bed villas to choose. All rooms have TVs, DVD players and free Internet. The rooms also include kitchens. Master suites include king beds, washer and dryer units and an oversize tub. For guests who want something extra, the Ocean View Villas include three bedrooms in a 1,800-square-foot villa. These rooms include balconies as well as separate dining and living rooms. The windows in the room stretch from the ceiling to the floor.

Ihilani Resort

• Ihilani Resort is on a private beach on the west shore of Oahu. The hotel overlooks four sand lagoons, 17 stories tall with 387 rooms, each with an average size of 640 square feet. Each room includes one or two beds, walk-in closet and a large balcony. There are also 36 suites offered at the hotel. The rooms offer views of the mountain range, ocean or golf course. The best room in the hotel is the Presidential Suite, featuring two bedrooms on the top floor with a panoramic view of the ocean. The room also includes two-and-a-half baths, a formal living area with a piano, a dining room feeding eight individuals, a library and a full kitchen.
  
  The Ihilani Resort includes a spa that offers Swedish massage, hot rock massages, maternity massages, in-room massages and couple's massages. Ko Olina Beach Villas Resort

• The Ko Olina Resort sits alongside a 2-mile stretch of beaches on the west shore of Oahu. The resort rests on 642 acres of land, just 31 minutes from the airport. The concierge can arrange transportation to and from the resort. The Ko Olina offers large villa suites up to 1,650 square feet inside gated grounds with a lagoon-style pool, ponds and waterfalls surrounding the property. A private fitness center features a sauna, steam room, lap pools and spa. There is also an 18-hole championship golf course on property. The Ko Olina also offers a wedding chapel, barbecue grills and a swimming pool.
  
  Outside the hotel are one-and-a-half miles of beaches with snorkeling, surfing and leisure activities available. Close to the hotel are biking trails, big-game fishing and short cruises to see humpback whales and spinner dolphins. The rooms in the hotel offer kitchens, plasma TVs and free Wi-Fi services. The best room in the resort is the Akala Suite, a 1,800-square-foot luxury accommodation.
