Eko's Flashback - Food For Yemi

Young Eko breaks into the food storage shed and gets some crackers for Yemi. He is caught by a nun who takes him into the church and tells him to confess.

Eko looks at the legs under the curtain of the Father holding a bible. The nun tells him to go and confess that he has stolen. He says that Yemi was hungry and she says that doesn't matter, stealing is a sin.

Yemi grabs Eko's hand.

Yemi on the Island

Eko sleeps in a shelter. Sayid looks him over and says, "How long has he been like this?"

Hurley says a couple of days and Sayid gets close to Eko and asks if he can hear him. Sayid asks Charlie what happened to him.

Charlie says, "Before or after we saved him from the polar bear cave?"

"Come on," Hurley says. "Locke will want to know you guys are back." As they leave, Hurley tells Eko, "Stay alive, dude."

Eko dreams of himself and Yemi as adults when Eko made Yemi sign documents to make Eko a priest so that he could smuggle drugs out of Nigeria. Yemi got shot and Eko was mistaken for a priest.

"Eko, Eko, wake up."

Eko opens his eyes. A small flame lights on Yemi's face. "It is time to confess," Yemi says, "to be judged, brother. I will be waiting. You know where to find me."

Eko's eyes get big.

Hurley, Sayid, and Charlie walk along the beach and Hurley asks if they smell smoke. They turn around to see Eko's shelter on fire.

They pull Eko out while others try to put out the fire.

Charlie tells him he's okay and Eko tries to say something about his brother.

Charlie says he'll be back and walks away. Locke asks Charlie if everyone is okay. Locke asks where Eko is, but Eko is gone.
