If this is a family room will there be a need for coffee tables, lamps, recliners, or couches, suede, leather, cloth? What look are you going for? There are a lot of decisions that the decorator/painter can help you to make.
How much will this cost me? You may want to make a list of the things that you want in your space and what you need to make it perfect. Then you will determine a budget that will be adequate to complete the project. The decorator can help with recommendations on color and shape. You may have decided that you really want that closet or built - in shelves. The decorator may have contacts and resources to construction and painting companies that can be called upon.
Once a budget has been established and a plan has been formulated, then everything is purchased to begin the project. The decorator will see that everything is constructed well, the painting is applied properly, and the flooring is laid.
