    • 1). Fold the paper square in half to create a horizontal fold in the middle. Unfold.

    • 2). Bring the bottom left corner of the square to meet the horizontal fold, creating a long diagonal fold originating from the top left corner of the square. Unfold.

    • 3). Bring the bottom right corner of the square to meet the horizontal fold, creating a long diagonal fold, originating from the top right corner of the square.

    • 4). Fold the paper again along the diagonal fold made in Step 2, creating an equilateral triangle with a tab sticking out from one of the sides.

    • 5). Fold the tab under the edge. You should now have a perfect equilateral triangle. Flip the triangle over.

    • 6). Position the triangle so one of the sides is horizontal. Fold the triangle in half along the vertical, bringing the left and right corners together. Unfold.

    • 7). Rotate the triangle clockwise so a second side is horizontal. Fold the triangle in half along the vertical, bringing the left and right corners together. Unfold.

    • 8). Rotate the triangle clockwise again so the third side is horizontal. Fold the triangle in half along the vertical, bringing the left and right corners together. Unfold.

    • 9). Fold the bottom right corner of the triangle to meet the center. Unfold. Repeat the process with the bottom left corner and the top corner.

Fold the bottom right corner of the triangle to meet the middle of the opposite side. Unfold. Repeat the process with the bottom left corner and the top corner, but do not unfold after the last fold.

Fold the bottom right corner of the triangle to meet the middle of the opposite side again. Fold the triangular tip back on the existing fold. Repeat the process with the bottom left corner.
