These tips are applicable to all dogs, no matter what the breed is.

1. The whole household should be engaged in your puppy's house training.
   Your puppy can also socialize this way.
   When your puppy needs attention, anyone in the house can help out.
   However, this activity should be supervised if you have children under ten years of age.
   
2. Make it a point that similar training methods are followed by everyone.
   Your puppy might end up confused with any variation.
   For instance, the same cue word should always be used for your puppy to relate with toilet time.
   
3. Your new puppy deserves to be given enough attention.
   Accidents frequently occurring simply means that your puppy is not getting enough attention.
   
4. Until such time the puppy is successfully house trained, it should be restricted to a small room in the house only.

Every time your puppy eliminates in the right place, you can give him a reward to show that the act is appreciated.
He should be praised DURING and IMMEDIATELY AFTER the deed.
An enthusiastic tone of voice should be used.
The correct behavior will be associated with the reward if repeated over and over.
