If you contract this job out, you may still want to obtain the plans yourself instead of leaving this to a contractor so that you can save on the building project.
With the economy the way it is currently, there are so many contractors and construction workers that are out of work and you may be able to get a very good deal to build your shed.
By obtaining your own set of plans that the contractor can use, this will save you additional expense.
Once you obtain a good set of plans, it should tell you what type of wood and hardware you shall need.
You will need a high quality hammer, a circular saw, a cordless or power drill and other hand-tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.
You may be able to borrow some if not all these tools if you do not already own these tools and further save yourself the expense of buying a new set of tools.
