How to Turn Off a Dell Ink Management System
- 1). Click the "Start" button and highlight the option for "All Programs." Click the "Dell Printers" program group and select your Dell printer.
- 2). Click the option for "Maintain/Troubleshoot" and select the option for "Ink Level." Click on the "Advanced" tab and then click the "More Options" button.
- 3). Click the radio button for "Never display the printing status," and then click the radio button for "Never display low ink messages," if available.
- 4). Click the "OK" button to save the changes. Click the "File" drop down and select "Exit" to close the utility.
- 1). Click the "Start" button and select the option for "Devices and Printers."
- 2). Right-click your Dell printer and select "Properties" from the context menu. This will open the Properties window.
- 3). Go to the "Ports" tab and remove the check from box for "Enable Bi-Directional Support."
- 4). Click the "Apply" button to save the change. Click the "OK" button to close the Properties window.
