6 Things you MUST do Before You Start Selling Products with Private Label Rights

It should be no secret to any internet marketer that there is money to be made in the private label and resell rights niche.
The idea is to sell other people's work for 100% of the profit.
Does this sound too good to be true? Can the membership sites, which have hundreds of members actually be profitable for its members or is it yet another "ruse"...
something designed to just drain your pocketbook and eat up your time only to lead you to a dead end? Well, the reality is that most people will never make money with private label rights, not because private label and master resell products aren't potentially profitable but because they don't necessarily market them correctly...
Here is why: While most PLR and MRR material does come with a sales page that you can throw up on a site and immediately start selling, many times the ad copy is poor and won't sell straight out of the box.
And most people who actually try to make money with PLR products, are lazy and would rather use what they get rather than spend the extra couple (or few) hours recreating the ad copy.
What you get as a result is a hundred or so people using the exact same ad copy that is poorly written (in most cases).
And, that my friends, is more competition than you need.
Set yourself apart:
  1. Do a little keyword research on the niche for the product:-Find out the "hot terms".
Are there any "google ads" in the search? If so, chances are...
somewhere there is money being made.
    Be careful though...
a lot of times, these advertisers might be using the product as a loss leader to make more money on the backend.
  2. Now do an actual search for the product itself:-If the product has been in the marketplace for any amount of time, you should be able to quickly find it.
Now, take a look at the sites promoting it.
Chances are you are going to find a few that have made their own ad copy.
These are the sites you want to pay attention to.
Take note of price point as well as the BENEFITS they list.
  3. Do a little Spying on the sites promoting the product-The easiest thing to search is to see who links to them..
    ..
most online marketers are not only lazy but don't have a clue when it comes to SEO.
Most of the time, you could easily outrank them with just a couple inbound links to your site.
  4. Rewrite the ad copy-Make it more personal.
    Add more features and benefits.
Give it a USP (unique selling point).
If you can make a short video explaining what it does, do it.
Anything that can make the ad copy more inviting.
Rewriting the ad copy will do a couple things...
first of all, since your content is not duplicated, you won't wind up in the supplemental index with all the other marketers using the same sales page.
Plus it separates you from all the other people selling the same product.
In other words, you are the same but different..
    ..
and this is a good thing..
    ..
  5. Add other unique bonuses-Once again, don't take it for granted that someone is not researching the product you are selling.
Chances are they have gone through several sites using several keywords to find out more information.
Butter them up with some extra bonuses for choosing your site.
  6. ALWAYS have the ability to contact them-We are talking list building.
Always have an opt-in form for your page.
You should never have a sales page without an opt-in form that will give you the ability to re-connect.
