Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee Strives to Help
Goodwill Industries of Central Tennessee Inc. is run out of Nashville, Tennessee. They employ more than 1,350 people and covers 46 counties. Spread over these counties are 60 donation sites, 30 retail stores and an outlet store. They are middle Tennessee's biggest employer of people with disabilities. It's their commitment to helping others that makes Goodwill's mission so remarkable.
That mission would not be possible without the support of people like you. While Goodwill Industries of Central Tennessee receives revenue from the various services they offer (including a workforce of people with disabilities), they still depend on charitable donations to do much of their work. Without people like you donating old clothes, used cars and other unwanted items, Goodwill Industries would be unable to help half as many people as they do now.
Donating a car might seem like a big gamble to take, but you would be wrong. With an organization like Charity Dispatch to help you through the process, whether you live in Tennessee or elsewhere in the country, it's easy to donate your vehicle to Goodwill Industries and help them to help people all across the nation.
Although they are affiliated with Goodwill Industries International, which is based in Bethesda, Maryland., Goodwill Industries of Central Tennessee is governed by their own board of directors, which makes them a little different from other regional Goodwill institutions. This makes them more able to offer assistance to people living in the state, and that they're very transparent about the process, making sure you know where your donation goes.
