ATV race tracks can be difficult to find when you are looking in an area so ripe with trail riding opportunities. To hone one's skills on an ATV track, riding can be the perfect way to balance the workout you get on the dunes or through the many park locations throughout Oregon. A perfect weekend activity for family or friends, ATV tracks provide an ideal way for even non-riders to stay a part of the action. - High Desert MX located in central Oregon allows quads to race. The track closes for the winter every year. When open, it offers riding from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and allows for family and group discounts. The track is watered, groomed and owned by people who practice as well. The track staffs a qualified EMT for safety.

rvmx.com - Albany MX works in cooperation with the Salem Arena Cross out at the Salem Fairgrounds. So while the other tracks are closed for the winter, Salem tries to offer practice times and races all year 'round. Both locations have excellent spectator stands, and the indoor season usually runs as a "weekend only" type affair. Once the weather begins to clear, Albany MX announces what times it will be open for the season, but its forum stays up-to-date regularly regarding races near and far.
