Mount Whittier Motel

• The Mount Whittier Motel is in the small town of Center Ossipee. Motel highlights include an outdoor swimming pool that is open during the summer months, and free coffee and tea in the morning. • The Allen A Motor Inn is less than a 20-minute drive to the south of Ossipee Lake. The inn, which allows pets and has 43 rooms, is situated two miles to the north of the restaurants and shops in the town of Wolfeboro. The beaches on Lake Wentworth, along with a hiking and biking trail, are within minutes of the motel. Additional fishing and boating opportunities are available the much larger Lake Winnipesauke, two miles from the Allan A Motor Inn. • Approximately 24 minutes to the west of Ossipee Lake, the Berry Pond Motel is in the town of Moultonborough. The motel is located next to Berry Pond and offers scenic view of the Sandwich Mountain Range. Moultonborough is on the northeast corner of Lake Winnipesaukee. Attractions within three miles of the motel include the Castle in the Clouds, the Old Country Store, the Keepsake Quilt shop and the Ridgewood Country Club. The Castle in the Clouds is a sprawling mountaintop estate overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee that features an arts and crafts castle, a cafe and hiking trails. Facilities at the Berry Pond Motel include an outdoor sitting area, a barbecue area and horseshoe pits.
