Ending Advanced Antivirus Processes

• 1). Press "Ctrl," "Shift" and "Esc" keys at the same time to bring up the Windows Task Manager.
  
  
• 2). Click on the "Processes" tab and then on the following processes: AAVSetup[1].exe and aav.exe.
  
  
• 3). Click on the "End Process" button.
  
  

Deleting Advanced Antivirus Registry Keys

• 1). Go to the "Start" menu and click on "Run."
  
  
• 2). Type "regedit" and hit "Enter." This will bring up the Windows Registry Editor.
  
  
• 3). Find and delete the following registry keys:
  HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.key
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AntiVirus
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AAV
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Antivirus"
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Antivirus"
  
  

Deleting Advanced Antivirus Files

• 1). Go to the "Start" menu and click on "Search."
  
  
• 2). Check the "All Files and Folders" option.
  
  
• 3). Type aav.exe and press "Enter." Delete the found file.
  
  
• 4). Repeat this process for the following files: aav.cpl, aav0.dat, aav1.dat, Advanced Antivirus.lnk and AAVSetup[1].exe.
  
  
• 5). Restart your computer.
