Problem: The Chat Window In The Lower Right Of My Screen Won't Open.
Solution: Enable Javascript. If you don't have JavaScript enabled in your browser you can run into this problem.

Problem: In the Chat area on the left side of your screen you see - "No one is online."
Solution: You need to enable your chat lists. Open the chat window from the bottom right of your screen and make sure all the "sliders" are green. If they are grey then slide them to the right to view your "Friends Online".
Problem: Your online friends go offline as soon as you click their name to chat.
Solution: Open the chat window on the bottom right hand side of the screen. Click "Friend Lists", then create a new list. Add a few random friends to the list, then logout of Facebook. When you log back into Facebook, make sure to click "Keep me logged in". When you're logged in, open the chat window again and make sure all of your chat "sliders" are green. You shouldn't have the problem anymore. You can delete the random list if you want now.
