Cheats for "Icy Tower"
- Copy the file "tower.cfg" and place it in the game folder. Rename the copy "debug.me." Load up a new game and press the "Up" arrow key to move up, something previously impossible. However, if you have the 1.3.1 version of the game the process is not as simple. Follow the same steps as before, but after renaming the file, create a new fie called "lets.go.txt." Open the file, press "Enter," save the file and then rename it "lets.go." Create a new text document and call it "fun.mode.on.txt." Open the document, hit the "enter" key, save the file and then rename it "fun.mode.on." Once again, you will now be able to move up.
- Exit the game and go into the "\icy tower\characters\template" folder. Open the file that looks like a piece of paper and a paintbrush. You will now be in a painting application with lots of pictures of Harold the Homeboy, the main character in the game. Press the "Ctrl" and "E" buttons together to edit the images. Paint and color Harold however you like but don't paint outside the purple box or the character's green outline. Use the same colors on each version of the character, meaning if his top is blue in one picture it must be blue in the rest. Save the file and then play the game. Choose the character that you just created to play with him.
- Go into the Game Option screen and press the "Up" arrow key, followed by the "Down" key, followed "Left," then "Right," then hold "Space Bar" and start a new game. The game clock will no longer be moving, meaning you are not being timed.
- Change the Ice Candy option to "No" and the Rejump option to "Yes" in the settings. Run from one edge of a block to the other and press space as late as possible to jump. You can leap five floors when jumping under these circumstances and you receive a great deal of points each time you do it.
