Dynamite RC is a division of Horizon Hobby, Inc., which is based in Champaign, Illinois. The company manufactures an extensive assortment of electronic and electronic-related products. This includes batteries, fuel, chargers, motors, engines and nitro parts, systems and accessories. The Dynamite 32 is the only engine produced for marine use by the company. - The Dynamite 32 is a two-stroke, high-performance, inboard marine engine. The displacement is 32-cubic-inches and it has a 19-mm bore and a 18.4-mm stroke. It is small, weighing in at 350 grams, and has a rotary carburetor. It is a 1.18 horsepower engine with an rpm range of 28,000.
- Inboard engines are mounted inside the boat and are thus not visible from the outside. Conversely, outboard engines are visible and can be seen hanging off of the back of the boat. This is common for large boats, whereas outboard engines are more likely to be seen on speedboats and other small boats. The Dynamite 32 features a recoil pull-starter, side exhaust and long-lasting ABC-type cylinders. It has a marine-style, water-cooled cylinder head with a glow plug. - Dynamite RC also produces a line of Platinum race engines. These engines are two-stroke, with rpm ranges of up to 30,000. These engines are also small and lightweight, with the horsepower not going above 3.5. The carburetors used in these engines include composite, two-needle rotary and slide valve types. Crank types include SG and standard, and these engines use ABC cylinders. Platinum race engine features include black oxide engine casing, lightened cooling heads, turbo-style combustion chambers, indexed carburetor needles and nine-fin aluminum heat sink heads.
