• 1). Open your Internet browser and go to "http://192.168.0.1" (without the quotes).
  
  
• 2). Click "Setup/Configuration." Click "Advanced Setup," then "Begin Advanced Setup."
  
  
• 3). Change the "ESSID" to a name of your choice.
  
  
• 4). Click "WEP." Click "Next" and enter your new preferred WEP key. Click "Shared," then "Next." Click "Next" again to finish changing your WEP key.
  
  

2Wire

• 1). Open your Internet browser and go to "http://192.168.0.1" (without the quotes).
  
  
• 2). Click "Home Network," then "Edit Settings."
  
  
• 3). Change the "Network Name" to something of your choosing. Disable the "SSID" broadcast box.
  
  
• 4). Click "Enable" next to "Wireless Network Security."
  
  
• 5). Click "WEP Shared." Click "Use custom encryption key." Enter your preferred key then click "Save."
