All Purpose Cleaner
Perfect for counters, tabletops or your bathroom this all purpose cleaner can easily be made using things you have within your kitchen, and is a great way to save on cleaning products.
What You Will Need
- 1 part liquid dish soap
- 1 part white vinegar
- 10 drops of essential oil such as lemon or lavender (optional)
- 1 spray bottle
How To Make Your Own All Purpose Cleaner
- Place a funnel into the spray bottle and add the liquid dish soap, white vinegar and if desired essential oil to help mask the smell of the vinegar and to give a fresh clean scent to the area.
- Before using the cleaner make sure to shake the bottle each time before using. After spraying the product use a sponge or cloth to wipe away the product and dirt.
Tub and Tile Cleaner
Tackle soap scum on your tub or shower with this tub and tile cleaner that works wonders to keeping your bathroom spotless.
What You Will Need
- 1 2/3 cup of baking soda
- 2 tbsp of white vinegar
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 spray bottle
How To Make Your Own Tub and Tile Cleaner
- Carefully add the water, vinegar and baking soda to the spray bottle. Keep in mind to leave extra space at the top of the bottle as the vinegar and baking soda will foam when combined together, and if there isn't a bit of space at the top the cleaner will overflow out of the bottle.
- Secure the top back onto the spray bottle and shake the bottle gently back and forth to combine all the ingredients.
- Spray the tub and tile cleaner directly onto the tub and wipe off using a cloth or paper towel. For heavy soap scum build-ups wait 2-3 minutes before wiping off the cleaner.
Shower Spray
After each time you shower use your shower spray on the shower door or tiles to help prevent the build-up of soap scum, and as added bonus it will also keep your shower smelling clean and fresh.
What You Will Need
- 1/3 cup of rubbing alcohol
- 1 cup of water
- 1 spray bottle
How To Make Your Shower Spray
- Combine the rubbing alcohol and water into the spray bottle and shake the bottle to mix the two together.
- After showering spray down all surfaces within the shower area to keep help keep your shower clean. There is no need to rinse or wipe off the spray when used, so it keeps your cleaning time fast and easy.
Glass Cleaner
This glass cleaner will remove dirt and fingerprints on windows and mirrors leaving a clean streak-free finish.
What You Will Need
- 1 tsp of liquid dish soap
- 1 cup of vinegar
- 2 cups of water
- 10 drops of essential oil such as lemon or lavender (optional)
- 1 spray bottle
How To Make Your Own Glass Cleaner
- Unscrew the spray top on the bottle and pour the liquid dish soap, white vinegar to the bottle. If desired your favorite essential oil such as lemon or grapefruit can also be added to the cleaner.
- Before using the glass cleaner make sure to gently shake the bottle each time before use. After spraying the product use a sponge or cloth to wipe away the product and dirt.
