In the first half of the 21st century Scandinavian Airlines has grown into a reputable airline worth it's weight in gold. The main reason for their success hasn't been happenstance, indeed it's been good business planning and solid partnership relations. SAS has and always will be an aggressively progressive company in the airline industry. On the other hand, they are still willing to merge with and support other companies and partnerships wherever and whenever necessary for the good of the company. The airline industry has been known to be quite brutal, but SAS has weathered those storms and come out on top year after year for more than 6 generations since 1940 or so. We must however recognize some of the key figures who where instrumental in the financial stability and longevity of this company.
