- 1). Use the Custom Profile Box app to add some HTML flair to your personal profile. This application allows you to add a box to your profile that you can use to write any text you choose and input Facebook Markup Language or FBML or HTML. A basic graphical user interface helps you with easy tasks like bolding or italicizing text.
- 2). Install the Static FBML application to your fan page to add a custom box that allows you to render text in FBML or HTML. This basic application is offered by Facebook, but it applies only to fan pages and can't be used on personal profiles.
- 3). Insert an HTML Profile Box in your personal profile using the HTML Profile Box application. Though it works on personal profiles, this application allows only the use of straight HTML code; not FBML. This simple program allows you to format text, add color to the background and insert pictures, links or other items with HTML.
