Multiply the time in the decimal hour form by 60 to calculate minutes. For example, if the time is 3.62 hours then 3.62 hours x 60 = 217.2 minutes.

Identify the decimal part in the time interval expressed in minutes. In the example, the decimal part of 217.2 minutes is 0.2.

Multiply the decimal part by 60 to calculate seconds. In the example, 0.2 x 60 = 12 seconds. Thus, 3.62 hours correspond to 217 minutes and 12 seconds.

Multiply the time in hours by 3,600 to calculate it in seconds. In that example, 3.62 hours x 3,600 = 13,032 seconds.
