Vending Business Start Up & Locating Strategies

First off when getting started in the Vending Business know this, that you don't need thousands of dollars or a large amount of capital to start making money in this business.
There are many different ways to acquire machines for your business.
As a vending operator myself for the last 11 years I have used a few ways to even get machines for free.
First instead of buying a vending machine you can rent or lease one from another vending operator.
Many vending operators always have machines just sitting in storage and would love to get their equipment out of their storage and out making money for them.
All that you have to do is just simply work the deal and make a few telephone calls to find an operator who will rent you your vending machine.
From there you can even work a deal where you rent to own the machine and at the end of the agreement the vending machine is yours.
Plus when you rent a machine they should be taking care of moving and repairing the vending machine too.
This is just a quick and easy way for you to get a machine or two into your possession without having to throw down a lot of money in the beginning.
Next when it comes to finding new locations I have used a few different methods.
One method is by just getting out there and going door to door cold calling.
This method does work and I have landed locations but it really takes a considerable amount of time, energy and effort.
Another method that I use now is by simply having a website and I then get local businesses in my community contacting me for my vending services.
This is by far my most preferred method.
It's actually quite easy to do and it doesn't take a lot of work or technical skill to get it done when you use some of the right tools.
The best part is that when local businesses are calling and contacting you they need and want your help.
This is a better approach for you as you are not pounding on their door asking for their business.
Instead they are contacting you.
When you have leverage like this then you are seen as a credible source and their preferred contact for vending services.
It really makes it easy to get the location and your machines set up.
Half of the battle is done, and trust me most vending operators struggle to get locations.
Really that is only because they don't know how to do it properly.
Instead they revert to the old school way of doing business by simply going door to door trying to get the sale.
If you are considering starting in the vending business and want to learn how to get started on the right foot to making money in this business on a steady consistent basis then using this strategy is in my opinion a great starting point.
