To be honest with you I was going to stay away from this show. My wife started watching it and after watching like 2 episodes I didn't like it. However, one night I come home and she has taken over the tv watch GoT. So with no choice I ended up watching. I got hooked. The show just gets more interesting with every episode. So finally caught up and wanting more, here are 5 reasons to check out €Game of Thrones€.

5. Swords, Dragons & Zombies

So I am way into the medieval times, with sword fights, shiny armor and a man's honor. This show is full of that. This is what initially drew me in. But after watching it more, I found out there are some dragons that are slowly making their presence known. Also there are the €White Walkers€, a creepy looking zombie herd that reside in the north. The king zombie looks absolutely terrifying so it definitely keeps it interesting. With all these awesome fantasy aspects thrown into the mix it just turns the show into some bigger

4. Lots of Stories to Tell

One of the cool things I like about the show is that there are lots of characters with their own stories to tell. And the show does a great job of intertwining the characters together. So every time I tuned in to watch the next show, I would be watching a certain group doing something and was always thinking about what was going on with everyone else. It adds some dynamics to the show, so you are not just focusing on one particular person or group. My wife and I watched one season in two days just because we wanted to see what happened next with each character.

3. A Different Kind of Show

When I had heard of this show I really did not think much of it. It just seemed like another show someone threw on tv. It just seemed like a typical sword fighting/ drama. But once you start watching a few episodes you realize that the show has a big premise. And actually the title gives it away. €Game of Thrones€ meaning the show is about who will come in power next, and what will happen when that person takes over. That being said the familys need boys to rule€¦so the show is not scared to show you how that goes about lol (figure it out) It is really interesting to watch what happens to each ruler and the consequences of his actions. You still have all the sword fighting and drama, but there a lot of other things going to on to keep you interested.

2. Each Character is Unique

So the casting director should get an award. The actors in this show play their characters beautifully. Each character is really brought to life, and it definitely makes you love some characters and hate some. Like I said before each character has their own story, and the show does a good job of taking time to tell you each characters story. So you begin to find yourself fixed on some you love and hate. I find myself rooting for some and wanting some of them to die a very terrible death lol

1. A Twist in Every Episode

The very best thing I love about this show is that there is always something big happening. It really leaves you wanting to keep watching it. Once you think that after there is one big turn in the show, it hits you with another one. There is a lot of big stuff that goes on in this show. I would label it as bold, because it most shows you have a main character that the show focuses on but in this show they are not afraid to kill off important people. It is a show that can leave you excited, angry and sad all at the same time. I think everyone should try and watch it although it may not be for everyone. Cheers.
