The 2003 Chevrolet Silverado SS is an all-wheel-drive, fully rear-locking-differential version of the old 454SS, but with more horsepower and less torque than the older version. The Silverado SS is a four-door extended-cab pickup that seats six and features driver and passenger airbags. - The Silverado SS has a six-liter Vortec V8 pushrod engine with 380 foot-pounds of torque at 4,00 revolutions per minute (rpm).
