• Antibiotics such as penicillin, macrolid and amoxicillin can treat lung infections.
  
  

Time Frame

• Although bacterial pneumonia can last one to two weeks, viral pneumonia can last a bit longer. It can takes four to six weeks to recover from mycoplasmal pneumonia.
