"Thomas has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair fitted with a computer device that helps him communicate through graphic icons. His teacher says he's been an inspiration to other students in the classroom. After learning of the art of Jackson Pollack and seeing the artist's use of color in layers dripped with paint, Thomas decided to try emulating Pollack's technique using layers of wet media and computer graphics that he created using a joystick and a paint program.
