Finding a Virtual Squash Coach
Did you know that you can get some pretty good squash coaching on the Web?
Liz Irving's Guide to Squash has withstood the test of time, and is highly-enough regarded by the US Squash organization that they have included it on their list of key resources. Mark Bellinger's The Squash Coach is another excellent online coaching tool, providing over 200 animated coaching routines.
Obviously, any pre-prepared lessons won't be tailored to your specific circumstances and skills, but these online coaching programs are worth checking out.
At a minimum, they can convey some fundamental ideas to you quite quickly. And if you're a visual learner, sometimes their diagrams and graphics will make more sense to you than what you would hear from a physical coach in person.
A virtual coaching program won't be able to adjust its squash advice when something isn’t working well, but it will be available 24x7. That's probably much later, or much earlier, than your real coach would be willing to show up on court!
