Sonny leaves with Kate and Olivia. Carly wants to know what gives. Claudia says she's sick of Kate's yammering at her. Then she tells Carly to go too. She thanks her for her help, but she wants Sonny to rescue her. They go back and forth, but finally, Carly leaves. Claudia wheels over to the table and is about to go for it when Carly returns and wants to know why Claudia wanted to get rid of everybody. Claudia wants to make points with Sonny, she says, and do the helpless act. She points out that without Sonny, she has nothing. Not sure Carly is convinced, but she leaves again.
Sonny gets the cousins to a safe location and then starts to go back for Claudia. Kate stops him. She says she has something critical to tell him. He says okay, later, and she says, no, it will only take a minute.
Edward hears that Tracy is around the corner and goes to see her, leaving Monica in the care of Nikolas. Nikolas and Monica talk about Emily. Nadine is about to approach them, but stops and listens to Nikolas say that the love he had for Emily only comes once in a lifetime.
Jason calls out through the tenth floor to see if anyone is still there. The smoke is thick, but he sees Rebecca's body. He's startled to see the resemblance to Emily. He gets her to safety, and she comes to, thanking him. He just stares, so she says it's polite to say 'you're welcome.' Jason says his sister looked just like her. Sam sees them and runs over; she, too, is startled by the resemblance. On their way to safety, they see Edward and Monica. Monica calls out, "Emily?" Jason tells Nikolas that he's right - the girl looks exactly like Emily.

Lulu doesn't want to hear it, insisting that Elizabeth will get out of the hospital and get well. Lucky finally locates her, and the two embrace. Patrick confides to Matt that he is concerned that the rescuers won't make it in time, so her fears really aren't unfounded. Poor Patrick - he's also worried sick about Emma.

Sonny and Carly pass one another as he's en route to get Claudia. When he enters the hallway, he sees Claudia prostrate on the floor. He gets her into the wheelchair, not realizing that she has the DVD. Meanwhile, Kate tells an exhausted Olivia that Sonny loves her and will return to her once he finds out about Claudia. Of course, Olivia doesn't know what she's talking about,
