March features tabby cats, which are a color pattern, not a breed. The Cat Pictures of the Week for March may come from the Life With a Tabby Cat, or from any other Show and Tell feature with a tabby cat picture.

Katie was adopted from an ad on Craigs List posted by a girl who rescues stray cats. She had been spayed, tested for FIV, and given her vaccines prior to the adoption. Her name was Fluffy on Craig's List, but changed when her new Dad and his girlfriend were watching a movie with Katherine Hepburn. Katie now lives in a multi-pet household with two dogs, one a search and rescue dog, two parrots, and another cat, and has assimilated into the home quite nicely.
