Two Ways to Lose Fat Fast

Do you need to lose fat fast? While it is not ideal to drop weight too quickly, there are times when it becomes a necessity. Many people want to get in shape before their vacation, high school reunion or a wedding. The best plan would be to start preparing at least six months in advance. Unfortunately most of us tend to procrastinate until it becomes a self induced crisis. If you fall into that category these two tips will help you shed some weight quickly and in a healthy way.

1. Change your diet: You need to cut out all processed foods. No sugar period. Sugar spikes your insulin which is counterproductive to weight loss, plus it causes you to be hungry. That is definitely not a good combination if you are trying to lose weight. Cut out all wheat products to include whole grain products. That means no bread of any type. The consumption of wheat products will make some people have inflammation problems because of the gluten. Even if you are not intolerant of gluten cutting out wheat will help you drop the weight more quickly. Monitor your salt intake for best results do not add any salt to your meals, but if you must use sea salt instead of regular table salt. No Alcohol of any type for the duration of your diet. Not only does alcohol add unnecessary calories but it will also alter your judgment making it easier for you to give into temptations. Eat lots of vegetables, fruits; lean meats to include fish and drink lots of water at least eight glasses a day.Also be sure to get good fats into your system from such foods as olive oil and avocados.

2. Change your workout plan: That is if you have a workout plan at all. Instead of running for hours on end do high intensity cardio. What do mean by high intensity cardio? Instead of long jogs on the treadmill run as fast as you can for thirty seconds followed by one minute at a comfortable pace. Do this for a total of twenty to thirty minutes. Do your cardio in the morning before eating. If you must eat just grab a piece of fruit then hit the treadmill. If you do not have a treadmill then run sprints outside, in fact sprints will probably give you better results. You can adapt almost any cardio to this plan. Try to do the cardio at least five days a week. Be sure to have at least one day of rest in between. Also try to add two or three days of weight lifting into the routine also.

You will be amazed at how quickly you will drop the weight. I just want to warn you that this program is not easy but it does work. As with all workout and diet plans you should consult a physician before beginning, to make sure that your body will be able to handle the program. Good luck on your weight loss journey.
