How to Make Pictures in Outlook Express Smaller
- 1). Click on "Start" and open "My pictures". Right click on the picture to be attached and click on "Send To".
- 2). Click on "Mail Recipient". The "Send Pictures via E-mail" box pops up. Click on the button "Make all my pictures smaller".
- 3). On the bottom left corner of the window we have the "Show More Options" link. Click on the link.
- 4). Select the small option with 640x480 resolutions from the options.
- 5). Click "OK". The Outlook Express message box to compose mail will open automatically. The picture will get attached to the e-mail in a smaller size. In Windows Vista and Windows 7 the "Attach files" box with small, medium and large options opens when we click on the "Mail Recipient" menu.
- 6). In Microsoft Outlook, click on the "Insert" tab and click on the small arrow mark which says "Include".
- 7). Attachment options box will appear. Click on "Select Picture Size" under "Picture Options" and select "Small". Only the copy of the picture attached to the e-mail will shrink in size. The original picture will not be affected.
