How to Open a PSP Screen
- 1). Remove the battery pack cover and battery from your PSP.
- 2). Unscrew two screws from above and below where the battery sets. The second, or bottom, screw might be covered by your warranty sticker. Peel it back gently to expose the second screw but do not remove it completely. If you do remove it, your warranty is null and void.
- 3). Take out the third screw, which is located directly beneath the closed PSP screen cover.
- 4). Remove the memory stick on the right-hand side of your PSP. This will allow access to the fourth and fifth screws to be removed. One screw will be next to the headphone jack and the other screw will be parallel to it.
- 5). Remove the faceplate once the five screws are out. Place all five screws in the magnetic dish for safekeeping and for future use.
- 6). Replace all five screws, as well as the battery, once you're done cleaning out the inside of your PSP, or whatever it was you set out to do.
