  "Guitar Hero: Metallica," for the Nintendo Wii, is a special edition of "Guitar Hero" that highlights the songs of the band Metallica. The cheat codes for this game are either used for entertainment purposes or they actually enhance your gameplay. Either way, you will become a rock star after playing.
  
  

Air Instruments

• To have air instruments, press "Red," "Red," "Blue," "Yellow," "Green," "Green" and "Yellow." The air instruments do not enhance your gameplay, they just make it so your character is playing without a guitar.
  
  

Drum Fill and Slide

• To always fill your drum and to always slide correctly, press, respectively: "Red," "Red," "Red," "Blue," "Blue," "Green," "Green" and "Yellow." and "Green," "Green," "Red," "Red," "Yellow," "Red," "Yellow" and "Blue." The drum fill and slide allows you to get a higher score. Usually when you mess up, your combo breaks, but with the drum fill and slide, you combo will keep on going.
  
  

Black Highway

• To get a black highway, press "Yellow," "Red," "Green," "Red," "Green," "Red," "Red" and "Blue." To get a flame-colored highway, enter "Green," "Red," "Green," "Blue," "Red," "Red," "Yellow" and "Blue." Lastly, to get the gem-colored highway, enter "Blue," "Red," "Red," "Green," "Red," "Green," "Red" and "Yellow." All of these cheat codes simply change the color of the highway. They do not enhance your gameplay.
  
  

Hyperspeed

• To get hyperspeed, press "Green," "Blue," "Red," "Yellow," "Yellow," "Red," "Green" and "Green." Hyperspeed is a hard mode in which all of the notes fly on the screen at high speeds.
  
  

Invisible Rocker

• To be a invisible rocker, press "Green," "Red," "Yellow," "Yellow," "Blue," "Blue" and "Green." This does not enhance your gameplay; it just makes your rocker invisible.
  
  

Vocal Fireballs

• To get vocal fireballs, enter "Red," "Green," "Green," "Yellow," "Blue," "Green," "Yellow" and "Green." In addition, to get performance mode, enter "Yellow," "Yellow," "Blue," "Red," "Blue," "Green," "Red" and "Red." Both of these cheats are for entertainment purposes. If you are in performance mode, you can get a lot more points, though. It is like an unlimited special meter.
