1975 Corvette Specifications
- The 1975 Chevrolet Corvette was part of the third generation of Corvettes, and was offered in coupe and convertible models. In fact, 1975 was the last year the convertible was made until it returned in 1986.
- Both the coupe and convertible models came with a standard 350 cubic inch, 165 horsepower engine with an optional 40 horsepower upgrade and a four-speed manual wide-ratio transmission, as well as an optional four-speed close-ratio transmission or a turbo hydra-matic transmission. Additional options included a Gymkhana suspension, power brakes, power steering, California emissions, and an off-road suspension and brake package.
- The 1975 Corvette was offered in the following colors: Classic White, Silver, Medium Saddle, Steel Blue, Bright Blue, Bright Green, Dark Red, Mille Miglia Red, Orange Flame and Bright Yellow. Convertibles came with a choice of a white or black soft top and could be customized with an auxiliary hard top or vinyl hard top. All models featured improved bumpers, and additional options included white stripe or letter steel-belted tires and rear window defroster.
- Interior color options included black, silver, neutral, medium saddle, dark blue and dark red. The Corvette could be customized with the following options: power windows, air conditioning, AM/FM radio or stereo, a map light, tilt wheel and dual horns.
