    • 1). Select a Usenet search engine. This is a search engine that is designed specifically for Usenet and looks for groups that fit the appropriate keywords in the search. There are several options from which to select, including Binsearch, Newzleech and YabSearch. (See Resources)

    • 2). Type the keywords for the preferred groups in the search box. The search will allow adjustments for the number of results per page and the age of the post by days. This allows a search over a wide time period or a small time period.

    • 3). Browse the hits based on the keywords. Depending on the keywords and topic, there are several hits that the search engines will pull up. Look over the information provided with the short description and then select the Usenet groups that fit the information preferred.
