It is great to see friends happy and cheerful; Julia was really pleased getting the baby shower gift.
She was amazed that I'd thought of an ideal baby gift so soon.
Showing gratitude she requested me to organise the nicknaming party.
I'm honored and trying to fulfill her request whole heartedly.
Normally our Saturday custom is to have dinner with Italian sausage sandwiches.
Me and Julia, my friend from our schooldays, visit to our preferred restaurant, Original Joes and take our usual table, and get waited on by our known table boy Samual.
He's popular for his nice and gentle behavior.
He seems to be an Italian, though we are not sure.
He is one of the reasons for which we like this place and make sure not to miss this meeting here.
However last Saturday was special, for that day Julia disclosed me something that I have suspected before; she's going to have her first baby! She and her husband Milchel are very excited, and she was little worried also.
She was puzzled with many queries.
Will she be able to handle the baby properly? Being a new mother she knows nothing about baby care.
Who will guide her? Still it's a special moment for Julia because she has always wanted to have a baby since I had my first, Audrey, 6 months ago.
I assured her that it's quite natural aspect of the life and now being experienced I can guide her.
They know it's a boy.
Though it doesn't matter to them.
They wanted a healthy baby.
While returning home, I was occupied with the thought - what should I buy as a baby gift? There are so many gift items for babies like stroller, baby walker, baby gym, baby high chair.
But for a new-born baby any one of these will not be in use.
I will have to choose something else.
After a while I got the idea.
Last year When one of my sisters had her first baby, I remember buying her a crib set, and she was very much pleased.

I looked for cheap crib sets - I wanted something at reasonable price as the babies grow very quickly.
Initially two crib sets that took my eyes were the John Deere crib set and Winnie the pooh crib set - little boys love tractors and the cartoon characters.
But what really attracted me was the lovely hello kitty crib set, a really nice set that would look great with any decor.
