How a Work at Home Call Center Business Can Save You
If I didn't stumble upon this great idea of a work at home call center, I would literally be typing this from a Starbucks that would be my home since I wouldn't have one. This recession has not been kind, I thought my job was secure I was an Apple salesman, everyone needs a computer and more people want Macs! However, it soon became apparent that the store I worked for was going to close down soon, it could not afford the rent, and with business and profits at an all-time low the store finally had to close. If it wasn't for this miracle of finding a work at home call center I wouldn't have a home.
At first I did the typical routine, I would print out literally hundreds of resumes and started sending them out to whatever place I could find. I drove to every store and soon to any store that needed a salesman; I figured I sold computers how hard would it be to sell a car? Turns out commission based jobs were just in a massive downturn, realtors and the like were closing up shop and everything around me was just taking a big hit. After four months of non-stop resume sending, I was willing to take a job anywhere and move my family where the jobs were so I sent my resume to hundreds more places. With my last month of unemployement coming up I needed a solution, as luck would have it I didn't just happen upon a solution for a work at home call center, I was blessed enough to have a brother teach me the ropes.
You see my brother ran his own home business for more than 10 years, I never really asked him what he did, except that he seemed happy and content. It is rather unfortunate that we were never really that close, he was the older brother and I guess I always held a grudge with him for picking on me when we were growing up. This time however, he was being the protective big brother and flew down to give me a solution to my problem. He said he knew my predicament and wanted to help by giving me a head start on this work at home call center. He would guide me through the process and teach me all the tricks and ins and outs of the business. He was even around for my first live work at home call center inquiry. Not only did I have the means to sustain a lively hood but I had regained my big brother, and this time I had no qualms about him taking me under his wing and taking care of me.
