So here we go 3 great tips on How to Stop a Slice...
#1 - The Grip When you address the ball and place your grip on the club, look down at your left hand (right hand for lefties).
Do you see 2 knuckles on your left hand? If you answered no - do this with your grip.
Rest the club on the ground and lesson the grip on your club, but keep it intact.
Now rotate your grip around the golf grip slightly, until you see 2 knuckles, now re grip the club.
This will give you what's known as "a strong grip" and allow you to impart draw spin onto the golf ball.
#2 - The Stance When you address the ball and are facing parallel to the target line just pull back your right foot (left foot for lefties).
This will allow you to attack the ball more from the inside allowing you to draw the ball.
You might want to aim slightly right of target to allow for the draw and you can practice this on the driving range.
#3 - The Downswing Practice this in your back garden before going on the range.
Pause at the top of your backswing and picture a long rope hanging from the sky.
Now imagine you are pulling it straight down with the start of your downswing, also do this before rotating your shoulders.
Do this to the count of one, or say the word "swing" you can say it aloud, or to yourself.
I like to say "swing" as I find this a positive thought.
