Put Your Article "Stash" to Work

103 2
As an avid sewer (aka seamstress), over the years I've accumulated quite a large fabric "stash.
" For those of you in the know, this stash is often our guilty little secret that has grown from fabric purchases over the years and may never see the light of the sewing machine.
Likewise, we go to this stash often for inspiration prior to starting our next sewing project.
What about creating an article stash? While some people are challenged with what to write about, for me there is no end to available topics and rarely does a day go by that I haven't added to my list of "articles to write" file or my "stash" as I like to refer to it.
If you don't have such a file yourself, I suggest you create one.
Mine is a simple text file (it could be a Word document or Excel spreadsheet if you prefer) that I keep on my desktop.
Every time I get an idea for an article, I open up the file, note down my idea with enough information that when I come back to it, I'll remember what it's supposed to be about, then save and close.
I have the same kind of file for blogging ideas though I've found it's best to just write the blog while it's fresh in my mind and since they are typically short snippets, it's just more efficient.
Now the challenge is putting that article stash to work.
I'm trying a new strategy in that for every 5 article ideas I add to my stash, I have to write at least ONE article and publish on my site and other article marketing sites.
It takes discipline but once you make it a habit, you'll find yourself with a never ending supply of article ideas and you'll be building your online authority.
