How to Bowl a Strike the Right Way

So you've got your bowling shoes on and the right bowling ball with you and are ready to show them what you're made of.
And there's no way you will be throwing gutter balls because after all, you are better than that right? Well, there's a way to bring them all down with just one roll of your ball.
Knowing how to bowl a strike is actually a technique that is quite easy to learn.
All you need is to practice it a few times, and you'll become a natural.
Let's see how you down all the pins with one single throw: The key to getting it right is how your feet are positioned.
This make take some getting used to, but if you keep trying you will get the hang of it.
If you're right handed, place your left foot to face the right side of the frontal pin.
Then place your right foot to face the left side of it.
Position your feet when you are approximately four steps from the foul line so that you have enough step-room to gain the right momentum as you move towards the foul line.
Like with everything else that you're trying to get right, it's important to relax and calm yourself.
Breathe deeply 3 times, that should do it.
Be positive in your mind that you're going to hit the strike, that's already half the battle won.
See that X on your score sheet.
Next, its time to position your upper body correctly.
This has to do with your shoulders and your waist.
Keep your shoulders parallel to the foul line.
Moving your waist will mean moving your shoulders too, so keep it still.
Take time to do this correctly, and as you do it, remember to still keep your feet in place.
Grab your bowling ball.
Turn your hand away from you once you have gripped your ball.
Its time for take off.
Your right foot makes the first step.
Step 2 will be with the left and 3 will back to the right.
As you move through the steps, you have already started to swing your ball backwards.
By the time you're onto your 4th step, you will be at the foul line, ready to throw.
The ball will be at the bottom of the arch, where it will feel heaviest and ready to be let go.
Aim for the center dot in your lane as you release the ball.
Keep your eyes on the pins.
Don't be tempted to let your eyes off the pins and look at the ball as it moves down the lane.
This will most likely cause you to move your upper body and get out of position as you aim.
Your ball will go for the center pin, and all the pins will come down! Its time to celebrate, now that you know how to bowl a strike.
