Here is Chico, my 7-year-old Chihuahua. I "rescued" CHICO, who was kept hidden in the back of a pet store, not being shown, because he didn't meet the breed standard. He is the most wonderful dog and he inspired me to be an advocate for animals. I volunteer doing rescue and adoption of homeless and shelter animals.
Chico's story has been published in various magazines and he has become a doggie model, actor and activist against puppy mills and a proponent of shelter animal adoption.

He is one special little dog and I am so blessed that he came into my life!
