The truth is celebrities like to blow their money frivolously.
From jewelry to cars, spa treatments to the latest in electronics, those who are wealthy and have extra money to spend use it like its going out of style.
And boy do they like to show it off.
One of the all time favorite places to go is Vegas, Sin City, the entertainment capital of the world.
High roller Vegas suites are getting better and better.
These rooms offer 360 degree views of the strip, in room Jacuzzis, bowling lanes, waterfalls, and even 24 hour butler service...
but the price is not cheap.
The Sky Villas at the Palms How much? Starting at only $25,000 per night you can get single or two story suites, with indoor waterfalls, private outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, and private poker room.
Rooms are 6,000 to 9,000 square foot The Fantasy Tower at the Palms How much? Starting at cheap $15,000 per night you get a 4300 square foot room, Jacuzzi, two lane bowling alley, pool table and floor to ceiling windows The Skyloft at the MGM Grand The Price is $800 to $10,000 per night.
Here you get 1400 to 6000 square foot lofts with in room espresso machine, plasma TV's including over the spa tub, preferred seating to all MGM Grand shows The Chairman & Presidential Suites at the Bellagio These rooms start at $5,000 per night and include a limousine pickup, 24 hour butler services, in-room fireplace, stocked bar and VIP seating for Cirque du Soleil show Having a place to stay is nice, especially one of these rooms, but what about the entertainment? Las Vegas offers a wide variety of events including concerts, shows, sporting events, and of course gambling.
Celebrities and high rollers have been known to drop $50,000 on a single bet of poker or blackjack.
Front row seats to the top sporting events, take for example the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) 100 on July 11, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay hotel, can cost as much as $100,000 per seat! But money is not an issue for these guys.
After all this fun, you're probably starting to get a little hungry.
If you have money, and its burning a hole in your pocket, here are some of the restaurants celebrities will drop a couple bills to enjoy a nice meal.
Joel Robuchon at the MGM Grand Here you can have a 16 course meal starting at $360, or a six course meal for $225.
The ravioli with chopped cabbage is a must! Restaurant Guy Savory at Ceasars Palace If you are looking for French cuisine, this is the place to go.
The rooms have an authentic French decorative atmosphere and full menu of the best French plates west of France.
The ten course meal will run around $300.
Alex at the Wynn Las Vegas Starting at $120 per person, this restaurant is known for its theater style look and world class service.
Rated best in its class, they even supply female diners stools' for their purses.
The prices above don't include drinks which can quickly add up.
Couple bottles of Cristal champagne at $500+ a cork, couple drinks and it's not hard to tally up a bill up over the $1,000 mark.
But this is just pennies to these guys.
Oh, and what about gratuity? Many are know for their big tips - Bill Murray once left a tip for the amount of the total bill.
It's not uncommon to see ridiculous tips thrown down, upwards of 50% to 75%.
The truth is it's not the money that is important, it's having a good time, staying in a nice room and getting the best service that really matters! At least to these guys...
