Article Marketing - At Last, a Free Step by Step "How To" Guide - Part 8
These topics were discussed as a foundation of an article marketing business.
Now we will begin to get into the article part of article marketing.
** Step 6 - Getting Started With Article Marketing ** You now have the basics of getting your article marketing business off the ground so its time to start the article part of the business.
The next thing that you are going to need to do is decide how you are going to distribute your articles.
** Ezine Lists ** The first way that you can distribute your articles is to visit one of the many ezine directories and make a list of those that fall into your niche.
If you are writing articles about hunting then choose ezines that promote hunting.
Send an email to the publisher of each ezine and ask if they would accept your article submissions.
You may want to either include an example of your work for their review.
Any that agree to accept your article submissions should be added to list (I told you there was more than one list) and when you write a new article it should be sent to them.
** Article Directories ** The easiest way of all to get your articles published would be article directories.
There are literally hundreds of them and all you have to do is a Google search.
Decide on which ones you want to submit your articles to and sign up as an author.
Once this is done you have an avenue to get your articles out to thousands of people.
Using article directories will increase backlinks to your website and thus help your site rate higher on the various search engines.
** Manual Submission, Submission Software, Submission Services" If you choose to manually submit your articles to the article directories my advice is to pick out a handful and submit to them exclusively.
There are hundreds of directories and using a few will make it much easier for you.
There are various article submission software packages on the market.
You are going to have to lay out a few bucks to get one, usually somewhere between $35 and $130.
Before you decide to purchase software you should be aware that most of the reputable article directories frown upon its use and have measures in place to detect automatic submissions.
Most of them will reject your articles if they discover that you are using such software.
Use submission software at your own risk.
Your final choice is using an article submission services.
These services are not cheap and cost in the neighborhood of $15 to $25 per article.
Some services charge a monthly fee for a predetermined number of articles.
The up side of the equation is that your article is sent out to a great many article directories.
This mini-course will be continued in Part 9.
