    • Traveling along the California coast, travelers encounter beautiful coastal scenery and mountain vistas.     Hearst Castle

    • The dream house of famous publisher William Randolph Hearst, Hearst Castle is situated in the central coast area of California and features a Mediterranean Revival style. Four separate guided tours are offered which explore the main house, known as Casa Grande, the three guesthouses and the pools and gardens. Hearst Castle features a house museum, visitor center and gift shop. For a unique experience, it is recommended to visit the castle at night when tour guides and employees dress in period clothing and explore the social history of the area and nation from 1930 to 1935. Tour guides undergo extensive training, 168 hours to be exact, and provide visitors with an educational and enjoyable experience.

    Jack London State Historic Park

    • Jack London State Historic Park pays homage to writer and adventurer Jack London. Visitors can visit the cottage where he wrote his many books and short papers. The park also features a museum, stables and silos. Guests can visit a dam, lake and boathouse, which were all built by London, by taking a 3/4 mile trail walk. Group tours are available and the park offers a picnic area for guest use. Jack London's grave-site can be reached by trail.

    Legoland

    • Kids will enjoy a visit to Legoland. Geared towards kids ages two to 12-years-old, the park features more than 50 rides, attractions and shows. Visitors access the park through The Beginning, where The Big Shop offers Lego merchandise and The Market offers muffins, cookies and drinks. Various areas of the park, such as Fun Town, Pirate Shores and Castle Hill, excite kids' imaginations. The Land of Adventure has five attractions, including Dune Raiders, a 30 foot high slide with racing lanes.
