    • 2). Locate a quitclaim deed form. A New Jersey quitclaim deed form can be found online, at a local stationary store or at a local library.

    • 3). Complete the form in its entirety; however, do not sign it until you are in front of a notary public.

    • 4). File the deed with the county clerk's office in the county where the property is located. A small filing fee will apply, which will vary by county.
