Advanced Ninjutsu Training - Jabbing in Advanced Ninpo-Taijutsu Looks Nothing Like What You Think!

In the realm of martial arts training, the art of Ninjutsu - the life empowering and self-protection methods of Japan's ancient Ninja families - is nothing like the conventional schools that you are most likely to find in the world.
This is partly because the Ninja's arts are based on natural, effortless movement...
...
and partly because the strategic-thinking abilities of the Ninja allows him or her to think outside the box to create very powerful techniques and results, from the simplest of motions.
From a strategic perspective, the Ninja is always asking, "How can I accomplish this task or goal in the most natural way?" "What's the least I can do that will do the most good?" The same is true whether the Ninja is thinking about achieving a monumental goal, or delivering a simple strike to an attacker's body.
The point is always the same - strategic effectiveness and efficiency of motion.
In the Ninja's taijutsu ("methods of using the body"), even the concept of striking looks different then what you will find in most martial arts and self defense systems.
This is why it's virtually impossible to learn this art on your own by merely piecing together skills from several other systems and calling it Ninjutsu.
Just doesn't work.
So...
how does a Ninja throw a "jab?" It's as simple as pointing.
Seriously! At strategic and appropriate moments in your defense, just point your index, or any other finger(s), at your opponent's eyes.
This use of the Ninja's shishin-ken, is not only a major surprise to the attacker, but it also...
1) Eliminates the "tell" - the telegraphing of your intention to punch 2) Allows for the "jab" to employed from just about any direction or angle, as the extension of the finger toward the eyes is not as limited as attempting to extend the whole arm from the shoulder, and...
3) Employs the strategy of "using weak points against strong," as outlined by Sun Tsu in his treatise, "The Art of War.
" When students and those interested in the Ninja's arts see lists like the Ninja Juroppoken ("16 fists of the Ninja"), the tendency is to "assume" that the skills are exactly like in other systems.
But...
How secretive and Ninja-like would THAT be?!
