3. Abnormalities in the cervix or uterus

It is very essential for the doctors to know the cause of your infertility before starting any treatment. For instance, if you are suffering from such a malady due to hormonal issues, fertility drugs and injections can be the choicest option. These drugs and injections can bring your hormones in proper balance thereby stimulating ovulation.

For women having blocked fallopian tubes should undergo surgery. Blockage in the fallopian tubes prevents the eggs from traveling down through it and reach the uterus for implantation. The blockage is caused due to the presence of scar tissues. This scarring can be caused due to endometriosis (the overgrowth of tissue that lines the uterus, a history of pelvic infections, or previous surgeries). Laparoscopic surgery can remove these scar tissues present in the reproductive tract and cause successful fertilization.
