How to Defeat Asuma with Kurenai in Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution 2

    • 1). Practice with Kurenai by fighting against other characters first. If you're not used to Kurenai's fighting style, fighting with Asuma is going to be much more difficult than usual. Try doing a Kurenai vs. Kurenai battle and observe how the computer uses her.

    • 2). Remove the time limit from the battle. This fight is hard enough without having to worry about the clock ticking away. Turning the time limit off will allow you to try different strategies as well.

    • 3). Defend often. Most characters in this game can be defeated by charging in and overwhelming them with attacks. This is not the case with Asuma, particularly when using Kurenai.

    • 4). Throw kunai as often as you can. If you keep your distance throughout the battle, Asuma will be forced to charge at you from time to time. Throw kunai whenever he does this. It won't do much damage but gradually whittling his health down is a great strategy for this battle.

    • 5). Use Kurenai's "Forward + A" move. This is the move that causes damage and then binds the character for a few moments. While Asuma is bound, teleport behind him and execute any combo as quickly as you can. When the combo is finished, move away from him and force him to chase you. Remember to keep throwing kunai at every opportunity.

    • 6). Use counterattacks. Since you'll be defending for most of the battle anyway, you should be able to watch Asuma as he attacks, and look for openings in his fighting style. Once you've mastered the timing, you can use counterattacks to take his life bar down--without leaving yourself open to attack.

    • 7). Use your special attack to finish the job. As you whittle Asuma's life down using kunai and counterattacks, your chakra meter should fill up quite quickly. Save your special attack until his life bar is about 25% to 30% full, and then unleash your special attack. Like most special attacks, Kurenai's can be blocked or dodged, so use the binding attack to keep Asuma in place while you execute it.
