How to Make Skins for Games

    • 1). Open the directory to your game. Locate the player images folder, generally called "Images." Open any image file with a graphics or photo editing program of your choice, such as MS Paint or Photoshop.

    • 2). Modify the image. You can change colors, draw different designs or otherwise alter the image in any way you see fit. For example, you could choose to replace a person's head with a pumpkin.

    • 3). Save the skin as a file with a new name. If the old skin was called "player.bmp" you could save it as "myskinforplayer.bmp." You then retain the original character for use in the game if you don't like your skin.

    • 4). Load the game. The game should have an option in the menu to load a skin. Browse to the skin you created and load it.

    • 5). Boot the game. You can now see your skin appear in the game.
