    • 1). Start an exercise routine. Exercising naturally lowers your blood sugar, and starting a regular workout routine can help you maintain a low level. Exercise three to four times a week for a minimum of 30 minutes.

    • 2). Buy chromium supplements. Chromium is a vitamin supplement that is proven to lower blood sugar. Purchase this supplement from your local health food store and take as directed. Talk with your doctor before taking any vitamins or supplements.

    • 3). Drink decaf drinks. Caffeine can raise your blood sugar level. Drink decaf coffee and teas (without sugar), to reduce your blood sugar.
