John can’t stop being a cop and I don’t think he should. He is determined to prove Marty didn’t kill Wes and Blair finds him searching Wes’s room for any evidence the police might have missed. Blair flat out hates Marty and she can’t stop pushing John about helping Marty out. They get into a big discussion about how John can’t give Marty up and Blair isn’t the type to be #2 to anyone and Blair can’t understand why John can’t just turn his back on Marty.

I was glad that she finally got him riled up enough to go back at her and say that he’s not going to apologize for still caring about people who once meant a lot to him and that includes Marty and Cole, who he has come to see as a younger brother. Blair breaks it off with John, telling him that he is not being honest with himself about his feelings for Marty. She tells him that he used her, which I don’t believe is at all true. Blair knew going in what kind of man John was and that he couldn’t stop caring about Marty’s welfare. I think John definitely does have feelings for Marty that he hasn’t been able to resolve since she lost her memory and although I don’t blame Blair totally for the way she feels, she is going about dealing with John in the wrong way.

When Blair is hurt and feels betrayed, she doesn’t care who she hurts and in a major act of stupidity, she goes to cry on Dorian’s shoulder, who is the master as seeking revenge without thinking about the consequences. Dorian convinces Blair to go after whatever is I her way (that’s what Cramer women do!) so Blair makes the bad decision to give her statement about finding Marty begging John not to call the police to a reporter.

John is really going to appreciate that. What surprised me most was that during Blair’s confrontation with John, seeing her shed tears was no surprise; seeing John shed a tear shocked me.

Cole is having his own problems since he can’t seem to get off those pills. Schuyler confronts him in the hallway at school and offers him help. Cole is furious that Starr even alluded to his problem to the teacher, even though she didn’t mention his name. Hopefully Marty is going to have a change of heart and try to straighten out her life and taking care of Cole will be part of that.

That was a very powerful visit Starr paid to Todd. She is having trouble living with the fact that she lied on the stand to keep her father out of jail and she goes to see him for a major confrontation. She is upset that he let her take the stand and didn’t stand up and confess to what he did when she lied for him. She is convinced that Todd got Tea to get her to lie (which is true in that Tea manipulated Starr emotionally) and Todd just stood there and made up some stupid story about not speaking up in court in front of the judge because if he went to jail he wouldn’t be able to see his kids. Is he kidding? Starr already knows that Todd wasn’t thinking about his kids when he tried to kill himself at Marty’s request. She told him point blank that he didn’t confess because even though he knows what he might have done wrong, he thinks that punishment is for suckers. Starr has her father pegged and he has to realize that. He can’t pull the wool over Starr’s eyes any more and she finally told him that she knew he would do something horrible again and that he should stay out of her life and her brothers’ lives. The only problem is that in his horribly manipulative way, Todd got what he wanted from Starr because even though she told him to stay out of their lives, she couldn’t say that she didn’t love him when he asked her that question and Todd will grab onto that fact and use it to his advantage.

Roxy sure put on a good show when Rex confronted her about his father and she broke down into hysterics and told him his real father was dead and that she had killed him. She even had me convinced. Roxy is almost as good an actress as Ilene Kristin is. LOL! So, we know Rex’s father is a monster that Roxy would rather admit to murdering than reveal his identity? Hmmm. Who could it be?

Well, guess what? We have another serial killer in Llanview. Are you ready to go through that again? Also, it had been reported that although Kamar de los Reyes (Antonio) was leaving the show, Beth Ann Bonner (Talia) was staying. We come to find out now that this is not true and that Talia will be leaving Llanview also. I was sorry to hear that. I would have liked to see her stay on and get a new life, especially since she is the only female cop on the show. There is also some good news on the horizon. The Gannons are headed back to Llanview. Nathan Purdee will reprise his role as Hank Gannon, Timothy Stickney will be back as RJ (YIPPEE) and we will have a new Rachel (Nora and Hank’s daughter). Bringing back old favorites is always a good thing.

I read a very disturbing rumor the other day, which involved the possible removal of Erika Slezak from the show. I read that when questioned, Erika said something about storylines going in certain directions and that’s all she could say. Since major long-time, well-paid, beloved actors have already been unceremonious dropped from other shows, obviously I don’t take this rumor lightly. It would leave a horrible void in this show if Viki were to be removed from the canvas. It is already a crime that we see so little of her. I would think that TPTB would be in for a major, angry campaign if indeed this should ever come to pass. This is one rumor that I hope is nothing more than that, a rumor!

See ya next week.
